This partnership with Women in Islam, Inc was focused on building grassroots Muslim women's capacity to lead creative, culturally resonant, community engagement projects using strategies that harness and reclaim Islam's empowerment of women. Over the course of 5 months, participants came together in bi-weekly workshops to nurture seeds of projects and generate networks for change. The project culminated in a public art show and open mic storytelling performance night.
